Get paid to get your preventive exam! Charah provides up to 4 hours of additional paid time off to visit your primary care physician for a wellness exam.

Incentive Amount
Participate in the Charah wellness program, and SAVE $840 annually for employee only or employee + child(ren) coverage; SAVE $1,680 annually for employee + spouse or family coverage.

Submission Steps
- Schedule an appointment for you and your covered spouse to receive a preventive exam from your in-network doctor.
- While at your appointment, request that your doctor’s office apply the “preventive” code to your visit, to ensure it will be covered 100%.
- Before leaving, obtain a note from your physician that states you received a preventive exam.
- Submit only the physicians note as proof of exam before December 1, 2025 to HRBenefits@charah.com.

NOTE: It may take up to 2 pay cycles for the wellness rate to appear on your check. Employees and covered spouse, if applicable, must complete a preventive exam and submit proof prior to December 1 every year to renew the premium discount annually.
